Water is a material that has agency to shape things, lives, maps, and our bodies. She is fundamentally interested in how water influences the shape of matter. The use of water in production, its redirection, its nomadic nature; it flows, it fills spaces, it is in constant motion, connecting, flowing through and transforming everything that surrounds us.
Note: This work was exhibited as invited artist representing Canada, in the 25th anniversary large format salon of the World textile Arts organisation, at the MIFA, Miami Museum of Fine Arts in 2022
The series of works “Le Flux de L,or bleu was created in 2019 during a Territorial research and creation grant project from the Conseil des Arts et letters du Quebec. The works have been exhibited during an exhibition at the Theatre Pauline Molecule in Vaudreuil-Dorion in 2019, and during a solo exhibition LE FLUX DE L'OR BLEU, 2022 Galerie Vincent-D’Indy, Boucherville, QC. The works will not be available in October 2023, as the are schedules for another solo exhibition. I was selected to present the project le flux de l’or bleu in Madrid, during the world textile art biennially in 2019.
