L’œuvre Are You Listening dépeint deux êtres assis au sein d’une structure rudimentaire. Les yeux au ciel, le personnage rose affiche une gestuelle empreinte de passion. La tête posée sur l’épaule de son alter ego, l’humanoïde bleu pourrait aussi bien l’écouter attentivement qu’être perdu dans ses propres pensées. Malgré l’évidente intimité du duo, une tension indiscutable se crée lorsqu’on constate que le personnage rose s’accroche au bras de son partenaire – comme pour attirer son attention.

Are You Listening is a depiction of two figures sitting together inside a rudimentary structure. The pink figure is gesturing passionately and looking up at the sky. The blue figure is resting their head on their partner’s shoulder and could be attentively listening, or off in their own world. A closeness seems obvious between the two, and yet there a tension is created by the pink figure clutching at their friend’s arm for attention.
