Fixé au mur comme un miroir pliant, Mirror Vent oscille entre le reconnaissable et l’abstrait. Les pierres concassées collées à la surface sont en argile autoglaçante qui réagit aux émaux qui l’entourent. Il s’agit d’une sculpture à deux points de vue : fixée au mur, elle se révèle et se dérobe à nos yeux au fur et à mesure qu’on en fait le tour.

Fixed to the wall like a folding mirror, Mirror Vent oscillates between recognizable and abstract. The crushed rocks adhered to the surface are made out of a self-glazing clay which reacts to the glazes around it. It is a sculpture with two views – fixed to the wall it reveals and conceals itself as you walk around it.
