Tina Marais tente toujours de considérer les différents composants d’une étoffe, leur provenance et l’importance des cicatrices qu’ils ont laissées sur leur paysage d’origine. Elle tien aussi compte du degré d’implication des systèmes humains et non humains qui confèrent à un objet spécifique la capacité d’emprunter mon propre chemin.
As Tina Marais tries to always consider what materials are composed off, what are the source materials and how deep are the scars left on the landscape where they originated. She considers the weight of the implication on both human and nonhuman systems that brought a specific object to be able to connect to her own path.
NOTE: The series of works “Le Flux de L,or bleu was created in 2019 during a Territorial research and creation grant project from the Conseil des Arts et letters du Quebec. The works have been exhibited during an exhibition at the Theatre Paul-Émile-Meloche in Vaudreuil-Dorion in 2019, and during a solo exhibition LE FLUX DE L'OR BLEU, 2022 Galerie Vincent-D’Indy, Boucherville, QC. I was selected to present the project le flux de l’or bleu in Madrid, during the world textile art biennially in 2019.

The works will not be available in October 2023, as the are schedules for another solo exhibition. I was selected to present the project le flux de l’or bleu in Madrid, during the world textile art biennially in 2019.
